“I worked with Jiji for a year and absolutely 💯 love her commitment to her farmers and dedication to see them prosper. She goes above and beyond to make sure you're well informed and she is extremely honest. I would urge anyone starting out or wanting to grow in the farming sector should seriously consider working with her.”
-Mandie, Kezama Farm
“I would like to recognize the efforts and support accorded to us by Jiji. Jiji is such a hardworking and dedicated person, has helped and guided me to do invoicing and other administrative tasks. We are privileged to have you. Thank you.”
-M.N.
“One thing I had to realize was that I was poor because our government insisted on keeping me that way. I was poor because employers chose to pay me the least amount legally possible. I was poor because organizations did not value equity in their budget. Lastly, I was poor so someone else could be rich.”
—Britt Hawthorne for Embracing Equity
“Why might I feel uncomfortable about this? Capitalism persists because of its ability to transmit shame, and therefore halt the uncomfortable tasks required to upend it.” —Radical History Club
Sliding Scale Payment Models
“Sliding scale is a form of mutual aid that recognizes that money is a barrier to access. This barrier to access may effect women more than men, queer/gender-non-conforming+ folx more straight allies, BIPOC (Black, indigenous and people of color) more than white people, persons with disabilities more than those without.”
